sllowe: Every time I see that man on TV, I start bawling. He is pretty amazing. I will definitely be picking up his book.
IUMOM: I am also currently reading Cohen's book. It is beautiful. He has a website: www.strongatthebrokenplaces.com, where you can get updates on the individuals in the book. And also a place to submit your own story of chronic illness.
Has anyone read Richard Cohen's first book "Blindsided", about his own experience with MS? I am eager to read that one as well.
I'm also currently reading "Stop Whining, Start Living" by Dr. Laura. I know, I know she can be really harsh, but there are certain points she makes in this book that I am really connecting with. I don't want MS to turn me into a chronically miserable person and I know I'm going to need to work hard to fight against that.

I think it was released the other day? I could be wrong, only briefed the website. Yes, you can watch the lecture on-line. Get it from the 2nd link I posted. You don't have to go to utube, there are a couple of options.
I read the journal entries - absolutely amazing.
Has the book been released yet? I first saw Randy on Oprah. Then, I watched most of his lecture on Youtube. I did see him on Diane Sawyer the other night (I wonder if you could watch the show online?)
He is such an inspiration. It's wonderful that he can help so many people through all of his trials.
I love to read, so this one will definitely be on my list. I'm almost through ready Richard Cohen's book Strong at the Broken Places. It is a great book. It really lets you in on how those will chronic illnesses think and feel.
Also, you can watch the lecture, I haven't watched it yet, but am going to shortly.
