Flu shots, what's the verdict?

Hi everyone, is Khiba around?  I'd love to hear from you especially.  Tried to send you a "note" a few days ago but no reply as of yet.  I probably screwed up somehow.  

I recently talked to a woman with MS who says she definately will get the flu shot.  Her neurologist strongly advises.  Every neurologist I've ever talked to or advise column I've read advises the opposite.  Am I listening to old school advise?  Are the new "dead virus" shots now safe?
