Line in Vision

Today when I went to pour some tea into my mug I thought Oh it has a crack in it! Then the crack moved about a cm, then another cm then another!! Then I realised it was my eye, the line went from the top of my visual field then worked it's way to the bottom and then started back at the top.

It was my left eye only, which is my good eye, having had ON in the right exactly one year ago. The line was a darkish green in colour, not quite perfectly straight. I have had migraines in the past but not for about a year and a half and I had no headache. It lasted about 5mins, maybe longer as I'm not sure if I would have noticed it at all if the inside of the mug hadn't been white, has anyone had anything similar?

I was having short, sharp headaches on that side everyday for about 2 months until I had IV steroids at the beginning of Feb.

Thanks for answering,

I think I was just a bit paranoid as it was exactly a year ago that I had the ON, I have had no problems since then (and believe me I have been checking it any time I look at something white!!!).

As you say so many weird and not so wonderful things happen with MS most of the time it is not worth the worry.

That sure is an odd occurrence, and I don't know what to make of it. Many times I have seen a vertical line on this screen. It's usually an inch or two long, and runs down under the 3 A's we can choose among for text size.

Probably my computer, could be this web site, maybe just me. So many strange things happen that I've stopped even thinking about them.
