Back in September, I hurt my back emptying a large bin, and I wasn't able to straighten my spine. (I looked liked the Hunchback of Norte Dame.) I went to urgent care, who told me in was just a muscle spasm after some x rays. It took a week to be able to fully strengthen my spine again, but the back pain never fully went away. A month later, my joints started getting stiff, and I got a burning pain in my knees, wrists, thighs and ankles. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis. Then last week, I got hit with a fatigue so overwhelming I can barely hold my head up or lift my feet off the ground. I also started getting a burning, tingly sensation all over my body. I went back to my doctor, who diagnosed me with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy and ordered an MRI for my brain. Unfortunately, the neurologist doesn't have an opening until June, so I have to wait until then to see him.
We've already ruled out lupus and rheumatoid arthritis, and my doctor is concerned that this might be MS. Has anyone else had symptoms similar to what I've described? I know I'll find out what I have eventually, but I thought I might ask here in the meantime.
