Hello from the MIA purple flower

Hello,
I am Rendean (Ren) and have been a member of this forum since 2008. I have been diagnosed with RRMS after a 5 year hunt for the real culprit of my symptoms. Went through 5 neuros total and was finally diagnosed by an older neuro who learned to diagnose without MRIs because they didn't exist during his heyday.

My past work experiences in both the medical  field and the legal field help me answer a lot of unique questions but I am by no means an expert at either and I will frankly tell you "I don't know" and suggest who might have the info you need.

You haven't seen much of me over the past 3 months. I have had 4 hospitalization in 3 months and at many times no computer access. I have read a lot of your posts and look forward to interacting with all of you!

Ren

I'll research the electrolyte imbalances in more depth  now that they are affecting  me personally. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks for the welcome,
Ren

Hey Paula,
Of course I remember you! You have been struggling with diagnosis, symptoms  and just a plain busy life

Hope to get a chance when my head finally clears (it's at 99.9 now ) but I also neglected other paperwork, etc. so  for now those take precedence. I due reading the posts, just don't have the time to answer all of them yet. That's my eventual goal.

Take care. I saw the post about Copaxone welts. The arm sticks are the hardest. Easier if yu can get someone to do it for you. My kids delighted in being able to stick me , lol.

Take care,
Ren

Yes, we are very close vicinity wise. Sorry to say, I haven't been up to reading your program but did want to acknowledge your welcome back.

I will see you eventually in a more detailed fashion after I read all the profiles , one at a time.

Cordially,
Ren

Hello Sarah,
Sorry for the delay in answering you.  Have had little reminders of why I was in the hospital 4 times so the reading and answering is slow lately. I did see you did ER nursing in the past. Always nice to have more medical  folks around :-)

I'm so happy to see you back on the boards.  It's been a rough year hasn't it?  I look forward to getting to know you better.

Warm Regards,
Tammy

It is good to see you back too.  I have been MIA myself, but even though I don't post as much anymore, I do read the posts.  Hope you are on the upswing health-wise.  It will be interesting to find out what is causing the sodium loss.  Let us know what you find out even though it's not MS related.

Hugs my friend.

Julie
