Help with cost of Avonex
Is there a way to get help with the cost of Avonex?
Definitely call Biogen, they are very nice and will walk you thru it. I used them when I started Tysabri and they paid for the first 3 months themselves until my insurance became effective. But I was approved for 2 yrs worth.
Contact Biogen Idec (or your nurse from there that trained you to inject) they have an assistance program. I think that there is another a few other ones but I can't think of them right of hand, but someone else might know and will post them. But start with applying for Bigen Idec's program for now.
