Here is some happy real-life MS-related inspiration!

Hi, all,

With all our trials, discouragement, and suffering it's time for some upbeat news about dealing with MS which I found in a real-life story about how one woman creatively dealt with the limitations of her MS.  You can read about it online on the MSAA website in the MSAA Motivator publication (Summer/Fall issue). It's entitled, "My Dream to Let Go and Fly" by Barbara Ellis.

It is so inspiring and begins with a quote from Woody Allen, "If you want to hear God Laugh, tell him about your plans."  Essentially, this woman with MS (Barbara Ellis) went from the depths of frustration to becoming a free spirit, an adventurer living/traveling/napping in her Volkswagen bus going wherever she chose whenever she could.  I found it a wonderful fantasy (even though it was real) about how I might eventually deal with where my symptoms are taking me (diagnosed or not) possibly even in a homeless status worst-case scenario.

I hope you enjoy it and it uplifts you as it did me - with all we're going through we need that!!

WAF
