Hi Gang

Hope everyone is having a relaxing week-end. Me???
Not so much. I feeling a bit yucky... I have a swelling behind the artery on the left side of my throat. Yes I have seen my PCP. had a couple of cat-scans Thursday, no results yet. I don't think it is any thing serious.. But I also have started getting B12 shots, it seems that my crazy body doesn't store my B12... so I have to have the shots. That could be why I feel punkish and out of sorts..
I am so grateful that we have such a great group, seriously, I appreciate each of you, even when I can't be on line.

All of you have gotten me through some difficult times...
I will let you all know what the Doc saids as soon as he tells me something..

Sending each of you hugs on the winds, from my heart to yours {{{{{~!~}}}}} DJ

I have also had a quiet weekend and have just taken time for myself to relax and have just been to church where I sing in the choir. I find singing such a soulful way to lift my spirits.

I am so sorry to hear about your latest health challenge..if it is not one thing it is another and you are an incredibly strong lady and I can feel your fighting spirit. I hope that things sort themselves our really soon and that you feel better.

with love, hugs, songs and prayers floating over the ocean and land from Uk

hey dear, I've been out to watch our team play an away game.  We had a gathering at a local restaurant/bar and had a raffle that raised money for our MS Walk team.  We made over $200 !!!!!

as we have talked about them, those B12 shots may make your feel quite a bit better;

Hang in there,
L

Oh DJ. I just saw the lovely note you sent me and now I'm sending the same sentiments back to you.  I hope they can pinpoint the problem in your throat and that it is something easily treated or followed.

Love you lots,

Julie

Sorry about your throat. Actually the B12 thing is normal for every one as they age. I heard a MS Specialist say this in a talk. How is the kitty?

Hi DJ,

It's great to see you on the board but so sorry you continue to suffer with various things.  The swelling sounds very painful.  Do you have access to a lidocaine wash for your throat?  I use mine when my mouth becomes inflammed.  It's a vicsous liquid that is disgusting.  But it works.

The B12 shots may help you feel a bit better.  I did the shots for a while and found that I felt a feeling of 'well-being' after a while.  It's hard to describe but I think it will help you in some way.

Have you been checked for vitamin D levels?

As far as the support here.  I'm with you,  I was telling someone last night that I don't know where I would be without all of you.  It's corny but true.

We care about you DJ!
