Being fron Miami, I distinctly remember that sounds. I have you aqnd DH in my thoughts and prayers that yo are safe and don't suffer too much damage.

It is still passing through NC we are far enough inland. We have had 50 mile an hour wind gusts since before dawn. An weird whistling which woke me fro a sound sleep. If you have ever been in a Hurricane you remember that sound. So far so good.

We're in PA right next to NJ so we're getting hit, just not sure how bad yet. My hubbys family is all down in Rehoboth Beach DE and ohhh boy they are going to get hit bad :(

Im in ct but am not sure how we will be hit.
We are in the cone of destruction.

Have batteries and candles, water and snacks.
We are good now but once the power goes out, if the hurricane doesn't make us crazy, my four kids without technology will.
