Yes, have ibuprofen and toreador for pain(s) and heat/ice available. Its just the darn waiting that gets you. When you tend to be Type A, little things like this are a pain in the........ and get in your way. I have not yet learned to slow down, I fear, wanting to accomplish all I can before the "shadow" of "you know who" catches up to me.
Thanks guys for your support, it just helps to have a team in your corner!
Off again tonight on the LONG way home. This one may just take a full month! They seem to get longer every month, the "to visit" list of people seems to grow.

Am sure the trip stress (dragging DH along - giggle) didn't help but I seem to get them for absolutely no reason even when am in "the zone" of calmness.
True mom taught us not to sit with our elbows on the table, but amazing how many other reasons you need that elbow touching something!
No, I was not the least graceful, unfortunately. When I had these falls at work, I did accomplish some graceful falls and some graceful "recoveries" in mid flight however I was not anticipating this one as I was standing still.
Feeling better, have a padded brace on my elbow to protect it and a new pulled muscle in my back, but am on the mend. This is the first time I have had semi serious complications. I was so afraid he would saw I had fractured it and I could just see me trying to accomplish my summer tasks in a cast! ha ha
am sure neuro will take the falling episodes a little more seriously now.
I know all about elbow pain as well. I have had tennis elbow since I painted all the wood trim on the outside of my house in October. It still hurts. Never fully healed. It woke me up again last night from hurting. Ugh
Ouch! sorry you encountered the bunch of doofus doctors in the ER. And double ouch from taking this fall. Try to stay upright, ok?
And take some motrin or other OTC anti-inflammatory to help with the swelling that will come tomorrow. Yes, I know you are a nurse and know all of this, but a gentle reminder never hurts, right?
feel better, L
ooh owww Sarah, elbows hurt, a lot!
You had me scratching my head trying to work out what 'stress' had to do with falling over, lol when i think 'stress' i tend to only think of emotional stress but i take it you are meaning the physical stress of traveling, now that i totally get.
lol didnt your mother ever tell you to keep your elbows off the table? lol stop leaning and it'll hopefully get better sooner.
hugs......JJ
Were you at least as graceful as a swan? LOL
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks for the wildlife update..Hope you see many more soon as weel.
Dennis
Me too! Count how many times in a day you rest your elbow on something!
I never knew!
I'm sorry Sarah! I hope your elbow heals very quickly!
