I'm back after long illness
Hi Everyone,
Like a copper penny, I keep turning up. I haven't been on in a while because I had an exacerbation from the flu shot. Then, Dec. 5 I started IV soluMedrol at home. Nurse came every day and infused me for 3 days, then a nurse followed up with my sugars, etc. for another 4 days. It was great..only way to do it. Ah, but then it gets even better. On Christmas Eve, my family came over and my grandson either had a cold or the flu..By the next night I was sick..Wound up in the hospital January 2 with pneumonia and more soluMedrol..From Dec 6 - Jan 7 is kind of a blur..I kind of lost a month. And the kicker? The soluMedrol didn't really do anything for the MS...waited too long to treat the exacerbation, I guess. My right foot flops over to the side so I'm walking on the side of my foot which in turn makes my hip hurt. So, Thursday last, I went and was fitted for a brace. For my problem, can't be a short brace, not this one goes right up to under my knee. Oh the joy of living with MS :) So that's why I haven't been on. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

Sorry for all the troubles - cheers to a better 2012! And, nice to see you made it through that nightmare. So many viruses going around the past few months - our docs offices here on the e-coast are filled from what I'm hearing.

Hi You beautiful copper penny ! i dont know what it is like living with ms but I am sure it is no picnic! Love hearing your spirits are up and sorry that you 've been away so long.
