I'm glad to hear you are slowly recuperating from your uro adventure! Sorry about the sore thigh ...can totally relate. Tried to pretend to my kids that I could navigate a staircase. Well, at least I looked capable and well for about 10 minutes before my bravado caught up with me later that day.
Take it easy, especially with the extraction and come and visit again when YOU feel up to it. We miss you, but honestly we are adults, even if we don't act like it on occasion and can wait (impatiently ) for your return and your wit and humor.
As for the other CoCL.. please do NOT take offense at these comments ..your answers and input are valued and welcomed with each post you write!!!!!!
Have a great weekend to one and all!
Ren
Heh... no squirting, no squinting, and especially no giggling. I mean it!
The couch afghan is starting to smell like feet. I only notice this when I'm worn out and sleeping on the couch, so you know I'm not going to jump up and wash it right then. Sigh...
Thanks for all the nice comments, support and understanding, and funnies!
I now giggle everything I squint - would that be stress incontinence?
I think the Enablex might be starting to work. That's great, because there are no side effects yet (like dry mouth).
That day wiped me out and took my brain with it. The next morning I had to pick my sister up at the airport. On the way home she comment on my apparent improved mood and asked if I knew what caused it. I told her that I had doubled my antiperspirant. Her only comment was that she could see how that might improve the mood of those around me, but wondered how it helped mine.
The trek down the stairs really made my left (good) thigh sore. It reminded me that I really need to get this body in better shape. I will. I think I am to the point where I will do something.
I just had a big molar extracted about 3 hours ago. The numbing is wearing off and I need to take some pain meds. It is still oozing, so I am biting on a pressure bandage. I may or may not be back here tonight, but I'll see you over the weekend.
Love to you all, you are in my thoughts every day. Aanother duvet day, hoping without any squirting, and not so draining.

No, Ren, tell me you did not really call that a "draining" day! I read that wrong, right? Like Tonya and the squinting?
And twist330, if we didn't use that term here, I think we should.
Doc Q, God bless you for your stamina, perserverance, candor, etc. through all of these ordeals -- and for respecting the fire alarm, just in case. I recall once at the county when the horn was sounding, the strobes were flashing, and all of us expendable employees were standing in the parking lot, waiting for direction from the supervisors -- who were all still at their desks, ignoring the alarm. Yep, Code Compliance Division, responsible for the approval of plans and the inspection of installation of, among other things, fire alarm systems.
OMG what a day! sleep well then take a duvet day. (Do you use that saying in the US, a day lounging about the house with in PJ'S wrapped in cosy quilt).
Wow, what a day! Let's hope your return visit isn't so exciting.
Have some chocolate for me, too!

Sweet Dreams!
Thanks for making me laugh when you are telling the story of you going down the stairwell....My mind is vividly imagining all of this while i was reading it.
You may be completely exhausted tomorrow....So rest, rest, and rest....
One more thing, when you said you left your glasses at the pharmacy and to tired to go back in to get them...I thought you wrote ..."So I Drove Home Sqirting"...OMGosh, I was laughing so hard thinking you were making a funny about the bladder issue..:)
Be Well,
~Tonya
Wow, Q. You have all the fun, don't you?
At least you got to put your clothes on before you exited the building!
I hope its a long, peaceful nap.

Nut uh!!!!!! A firealarm! Serious!
Only you Quizzle. Bring on those meds baby. Oh, how I pray they work for you.
-Shell
p.s. Oh, me thinks moving your 'nutin' at that fast pace is deserving of a least 2 bowls of ice cream! LOL! !!
Maybe you should have gone for an MRI like I did. You could have teaken a nice long nap. :)
Rest up brave one.
Dennis
Wow, what an experience! Hope it won't be repeated when you go back to repeat the urodynamic testing!
It's really amazing how well you made it through all of that. Wow again. I'm glad you made it home safely and that your nap willl recharge your batteries.
Take care,
Kathy
Sleep well, you deserve it. What luck with the fire alarm that really stinks. I am so sorry but kudos for all that walking and hustling about. You did good girl! Good luck with new medication:)

Phew! Sleep and recoop. Sounds like a real workout.
Residual is how much urine is left in the bladder?
That spastic urethra is no fun. I'm beginning to see how this might be a problem in a few years! Right now at least I can go after ten minutes of relaxing.
