you know meds can cause all of this symptoms including the immagining of her husband trying to kill her.  they cause mood swings lupus and ms symptoms among other things.  If she has had an MRI it should have shown lesions or anything else.

Was she like this before medication or after?  I have lupus too.  if she is on steroids they create havoc on your body and your brain function, i am on predisone and it causes ups and downs and screaming fits.  I am not crazy.

IT STARTED ON FEBRUARY THE 26th ( ON HER SON'S BIRTHDAY )
FROM WHAT I KNOW IT STARTED WITH HER HAVING DELUSIONS OF HER HUSBAND TRYING TO KILL HER AND FROM THERE IT ALL WENT DOWN HILL. SHE'D BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE PSYCHIATRIC WARDS WHEN I FOUND OUT. I WAS TOLD SHE HAD LOST HER MIND ! SO WHEN I FOUND OUT WHAT HOSPITAL SHE WAS IN I STARTED GOING TO VISIT HER AND SHE SEEMED FINE BUT ZOMBIE LIKE AND SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER SO I KNOW THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG AND WE TRIED TO GO EVERYDAY BUT WE NOTICED THAT SHE WOULD TRY TO CUT THE VISITS SHORT AND HONESTLY IT BROKE OUR HEARTS. WE LATER LEARNED ABOUT THE LUPUS AND NOT LONG AFTER THEY ADDED THE MS. I KNOW SHE IS ON MEDICINES BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND AND I KNOW SHE IS IN COUNSELING, I'M PRETTY SURE A  NEUROLOGIST IS INVOLVED BUT I JUST FEEL THAT THERE IS MORE THAT CAN BE DONE!!! SHE HAS FOUR KIDS RANGING FROM AGE 2-18 AND THEY WERE ALL C-SECTIONS. WE GOT A CALL FROM MY BROTHER-IN-LAW THIS MORNING TO LET US KNOW THAT SHE HAD A SEIZURE LAST NIGHT. I'M GOING TO SEE IF I CAN FIND OUT WHAT MEDS SHE'S ON AND WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR SHE IS SEEING AND I WILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW AS SOON AS I DO. THANKS FOR SUPPORT I HATE SEEING HER LIKE THIS IT'S JUST SO DAMN HARD YOU KNOW I WISH I COULD DO SOMETHING TO BRING HER BACK. SHE LIKES TO SMOKE BUT NOW THEY DON'T LET HER AND I DON'T KNOW SHE SEEMS LIKE A PUPPET

Hi there,

Oh my goodness.  I'm with Santana - how old is she? Please stay w/us.  We'd like to help, but need a little more info.  Do they have her on any meds? Was she like this prior to the MS dx? How long has this been going on?

You will find support and comfort here. Talk to us when you can.  We are here for you.

Hi, and Welcome to the MS forum. How old is she?  And who diagnosed her with Lupus and MS?  Was it her PCP?  Has she seen a neurologist?  If not this is the kind of doctor who treats these conditions!  If she is not under the care of a neurologist, then the family should ask the PCP to give her a referal to one!!!!!!!!

Could you give us some more details of her onset of symptoms and the duration of them? With some more information we can try to help guide you in the correct direction to get the appropriate care for her!
