Im really starting to undertand this Mimic thing!

I am really starting to "get" this Mimic "thing".  I dont have MS, but I do have Spine problems as those of you know who have read any of my posts.  I see first hand the similarities in symptoms as least between Spinal Compression and nerve root compression and MS.  The parethesias, the myelopathy, the migraines, and now that this Thoracic herniation has become symptomatic to torture me,

I think i can say I believe I understand what an MS "Hug" must be like.  Its my T7/8 disc herniated with cord compression and nerve root compression, must be inflammation in surrounding tissue as well.  The T7/8 is right below the breast (approx, I guess depends on who you are :o), and it squeezing my chest tight.  I went to the PCP to r/o anything cardiac although I know this is what it is.  Nothing cardiac as of yet.  

I did too much housework which wasnt much, nothing unusual, and it irritated things and is now torturing me.

God help me it hurts alot.

Thanks Ren, Yes I have Percocet thankfully for the past several months for the neck issues etc. I try to be judicious and only take when and what I need.  I dont need that problem too! :)

Oh also fasciculations too, another similar symptom, have those too, when I cant walk mostly.
No wonder its hard in a way for md's to figure things out SOMETIMES.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain. Did your PCP offer you anything for pain relief? I'm glad it's not cardiac.
