Just so all will know

I do not have the psychotic feature of bipolarism, I wish I did... then I would have someone to talk too that wouldn't be sick of hearing me complain about my aliments...lol...being bipolar means your moody...depressed sometimes and very very happy, other times. Unfortunately the doctors don't think the happy times are good for me thus they have taken them away (the manic episodes) and we are left with the low, low's with no interest in anything but making it through another day.  As I said in the previous post, seemed liked the depression finally lifted a little after 18 months and bam hit with all of these weird symptoms...for instance had a busy weekend with family and I feel like **** this a.m. achy fingers, flu like symptoms and exhausted but can't sleep.  I have my normal neck and back pain, but I just learned to live with that.

I do have another question? does MS make your hair dry and brittle?  I suspect I may have MS or SLE or both.  Btw, it's my understanding that they can come on together, as well as some other conditions, along with mental conditions...not sure but I think I heard that.

Have a manic monday all,

Samantha

P.s. I have a very dry british sense of humor but I was born in raised in So. CA...some appreciate it...some do not...don't mean to offend anyone...

I meant Samantha.  I'm sorry about that!  I guess it's an MS brain fart.  Deb

I agree with Bio--dry hair is a symptom of thyroid disorder.  I had this problem when I had hypothyroidism.

The hair thing sounds like a thyroid problem. Have you had thyroid testing?
