hairy toes

Hi there, I am in the process of being diagnosed. I have seen the neurologist and have appointment for m.r.i scan in two weeks. One thing the neurologist asked me was "did I have hair on my stomach, as well as my toes and feet" I dont, but wondered if anyone knew what this meant. Or if it has anything to do with M.S symptoms?
Thanks.  Julie

I too imagine this would apply most to problems with the endocrine system.

Even thought I'm ashamed to admit my initial thoughts turned to a very old (and equally bad - but funny) joke... I don't really think the question is THAT weird.  We need to have enough faith in our doctors to believe there will be a valid reason if they ask the occasional bizaare question.

I'm not sure what type of questionable motive would be justified by an answer anyway.

that's a weird weird question.  I don't think I'd even justify him by answering it!

I would guess that they might be thinking something hormonal.

It doesn't sound like it would be ms related to me.

Hopefully you get some answers soon.
