MS - you can leave now I have had enough of this ride!

Okay as if the spasticity, twinges, muscle aches, pain, mobility issues, and shear exhaustion were NOT enough MS has decided I need Restless Leg Syndrome now!  Seriously now!  I am not tired enough but now need to be kept awake due to my legs feeling like there are spiders crawling on them and wanting to move on their own.  You don't want to move when I WANT you to!

Had enough - you can move on now!

Have you considered trying the test to see if the baclofen pump would help you? My biggest complaint of my MS for the past 4 years has been daily pain from muscle spasms. I was on 70 mg of baclofen, but trying to stay awake at work was not going so well, because of the side effect of the oral. So, I decided to try the baclofen test. The baclofen pump uses just a small amount of baclofen, generally without the side affects of the oral baclofen. My pain management doctor is actually surprised that more people with MS don't use the pump, as really only 20% of the oral is being used as a muscle relaxer. It is just a thought, it may decrease your pain and spasticity. Let me know if you want any more information.

Not sure what brought it on - came on kind of suddenly but not all the time  seems to happen more when my legs are extra tired - the weekends mostly since I work on my feet those days.

Not on Flexeril  but Baclofen and it isn't working all that well anymore so was going to talk to neuro about options when I see him next month.  Spasticity is my most challenging sx -  the others I can sort of live with -  well have to live with ! LOL  but the spasticity really makes walking tough!  The legs just do not want to bend and move like I would like them too.

I am with you on outlawing this disease  - it is taking too much from all of us and it just needs to go away!!!!!!!   And I too am all for resigning from the club!

The only good thing it has brought to my life is all of you!

Did you mean Flexeril?  Do you have any left over?  Oh, forget I said that; I didn't mean it.  Much!

Hey Jacks! Hollar away lol

Definitely rots. I get it too, but it's intermittent and nothing full time. Sometimes meds contribute or ramp mine up. Especially flexerol (sp?) so I try to stay away from that.

Did it come on suddenly?
