vision issues with MS

What kind of vision issues can MS cause?  I didn't see a health page on it, but I could very well have missed it.

I'm having issues with blurry vision, double vision and nystagmus.  My primary dr doesn't know what's causing it, and I'm waiting on a referral to get a second opinion on if I Have MS or something else.

Hi and welcome,

Optic Neuritis, diplopia (double) and Nystagmus are the most common visual issues, blurred can be a grey area because of it multiple causes but its also recognised as a visual sx connected to MS.

Please be aware, that adult onset Nystagmus is a recognised sign of a neurological issue and on its own, it doesnt necessarily mean MS, there are other possible explanation that need investigating too.

Cheers.........JJ

I have nystagmus issues. Every morning, for the first 2-3 minutes, I see double. Once my eye muscles have a chance to wake up my vision goes back to normal for the rest of the day.
