Tonight's giggle - true story....

I was just talking with my friend and was telling her that I was pretty painful tonight and I just felt like I needed to take something.  FTR, I absolutely hate taking any kind of pain meds because they make me feel awful and I'd sooner just deal with the pain.  But, I'm just hurting tonight and the doc said the Tramadol he prescribed me after my surgery was very mild and he didn't think it would make me sick.  

So I tell my friend that I think I'm going to take a half a Tramadol and go to bed.  At least I thought that's what I told her.  She cracked up laughing and I asked her what was so funny?  She asked me if I did that on purpose or did I even realize what I had said?  Apparently I said I was going to take half of a damn-it-all and go to bed.  Oy.  LOL

Freudian slip?  Spoonerism?  UWS goof-up?

Oh, well!  Off to take my damn-it-all and go to bed....  Nite all!  :)

Sounds like my pain humor recently at the ER following a kidney pain attack that brought me in by EMS..........taking history in room and they asked if I was suicidal.......I said, well, if you don't give me something for this pain, I sure could be........
she finally realized I was kidding.............unreal pain............better now, am armed with dilaudid if needed.
