Moki Needs All Your Thoughts & Prayers

Wanted you all to know that Moki's daddy is going to have to have surgery again.  They can't get his heart regulated, so they are going to have to put a pace maker in place.  Don't know exactly when, but Moki is leaving early in the morning heading to the hospital.

Her daddy's heart stopped twice last night, and Moki is in panic mode.  She needs all her friends here to pray for her and her family, especially her daddy.


We all love you, Moki Bear, and pray that everything will work out well for your daddy.

Got a short note from Moki's niece last night. Said, Opa is happy and doing well, and that Moki would be gone a few more days.

Just wanted to give everyone an update.

Doni, thanks sweetie for doing this. My family needs all the prayers it can get right now.

To you all, I can never thank you enough for all the support, caring and prayers you have given me and my family of late. We were so hoping that my Daddy would come home this weekend but I guess that is not going to happen.

As it stands right now, they are seriously looking at surgery for the pace maker as his arrhythmia is out of control right now. They still are hoping that by some slim chance, it may regulate itself but they highly doubt it.

Quix, yes they have him on an external pace maker right now which I'm wondering why it is not controlling the arrhythmia and how would an internal pacemaker make a difference?

They are concerned as this is causing his heart to have to work harder with the arrhythmia which is causing racing and then slowing to almost nothing then racing etc. Twice last night his heart actually stopped.

I just feel so bad for him right now. He is so down. He had hoped the maizing (spelling)that they did would stop the arrhythmia but now it is worse than it has ever been. I panicked earlier but I think to I am just so tired that it took me off guard.

I'm not sure what or when anything is getting done and won't know until we get down there tomorrow. Thank you all again so much for tonight, it means a great deal to me and your support and prayers are helping me get through this. I'll let you all know as soon as I can how things are.

Ahhh, Mokikins....I can only share with you that the placement of a pacemaker is not usually a huge deal.  I hope it goes quickly and smoothly.  Do they have him on an external pacemaker right now until the surgery?
