Not getting notifications of posts or messages...

I haven't been getting notifications of posts on the threads that I've started, of notes, etc.  Actually, sometimes I get some, and others, none.  I discover that I've had answers or a new  note by looking around the forum.

Anyone else having this problem?  Do I need to click on "Add to Watch List" every time?  I though it was automatic, but it seems it isn't always.

I had some responses from quite a while ago to a post on the autoimmune forum, a thread that I had started.

Is this a Med Help issue, or my roommates computer?

Anyone else?

I received a notification about the note from ShadowSister, but not this post that she made on my thread.  I'll go check my preferences again.

Also, I tried to send a note to DJ, and I don't think it went; it didn't seem to do anything.  I'll have to check and see if she got two copies of it, as I clicked send  twice! :o)

Well, I came back on the forum, went to check on a post I had on the Lupus forum, and found that I had a reply posted since I supposedly fixed the problem, and now DJ posted about the same issue.

I'm tired, I'll check back tomorrow, thanks.

I checked things out:  all my notification boxes are ticked.  i don't get a daily email with summary.

after my e-mail address, it said:

Your email address has not been verified. A verification email was sent to you. Click here to resend.

I clicked to resend, and I received an e-mail to verify, and now I guess things should be OK.  It says my e-mail has been verified.

Must have been when my roommate's IT person fixed her computer remotely; must have removed a vital cookie.

Thanks for your help; I was feeling very lonely!

I'm not sure what its from kathy, but go in and check the preferences on your account and make sure that all of the notification boxes are ticked.  That might be where your problem is.

do you get the daily email with the summary?  That should have your watched list and show any new additions. That's the easiest way to keep track of posts without being bombarded with multiple emails for each response.

i hope this helps,
L
