Well, we found out that the baby does NOT have Downs, and that....................................SHE IS A GIRL!  We have two boys, and we are all excited and suprised that we are now expecting a girl!

Girls are the best but they do require two large savings accounts to a boy's one.  The first for getting educated and the other for getting married.

I am so happy to hear the baby is fine no doubt a huge relief for you guys.  And you are having a girl!!!  I had 2 boys before I had my daughter and what a difference there is with girls.

I am truly excited!  I am also nervous about the MS after delivery.  I had double vision 30 hours after Nathan was born, and it took over a year to get anyones attention...it did lead to my Dx.  Pray for us, this might be a wild ride!

Wow this is exciting news and I can so relate to it as I have two lovely boys and then had my much longed for daughter who is now 15.

What can I say..I love them all the same but girls are so much harder work than boys when they get to about 14...but perhaps others will disagree. But how I loved buying all those pretty pink clothes and how I love now going out shopping with her or just out for a coffee.  When I was told I was having a girl I did not dare beleive it and painted her nursery blue again (as if it would change anything or what was already inside me!!)

I am so happy for you that your Downs test has come back negative and I am sure that to just have a healthy baby is all that you hoped for. Enjoy your pregnancy and we look forward to hearing progress

That is great news - a healthy baby is what everyone wishes for most.  Now, the second thing having a girl since you already have the boys.  Wait until you get to shop - the clothes are incredibly cute and affordable.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dad brace yourself for lots and lots of shopping!!! fingernail polish every where, slumber party where 4 little girls manage to giggle the ENTIRE night and still be happy and smiling as they wait for you to cook them breakfast..........
