Please help: MS MRI question

Hello- This past summer I'd been having muscle tightness and stiffness in my legs, arms, and fingers. I'd also had some digestion problems. This made me worry about MS a lot. I went to a neurologist and got a brain MRI and evoked potential tests. Both came out okay, and so I stopped worrying. However, my same symptoms have come back with a vengeance 6 months later, and I'm worried. I had left a bellybutton ring on during the MRI, maybe that could have messed up the results. Does it seem that I could still have MS? Should I go back and get another MRI? Thanks so much...

Hi Kate,
I would deff. make anther appt. with the neuro to let him know were your at with everything.
st least he can follow your symptoms and give you the meds you need to get threw this.
I personally hate meds. but some times we have to do what we have to do to get threw the rough times.
let us know how it go's.

Hi...no, that wouldn't have made any difference regarding the MRI impressions. You should let your doctor know about the return of your symptoms. And next time, take out that ring! You don't want to be responsible for messing up a five-figure piece of medical equipment.
