should i worry about this?

Since about 7 o'clock Thursday, I've been having this strange thing going on...my right eye - I keep having like someone dropping a sheer white curtain over it. Is this something I should worry about  or is it a normal type MS thing?

Does it look like your looking through ointment or a smoky white glass?  That sounds like optic neuritis.  I'd get that eye doctor appointment the first thing Monday.  If it gets worse, go to the ER (actually, you may consider going today, if it hadn't improved).

Oral steroids, from what I understand, doesn't do much for optic neuritis.  Most people get the IV steroids for this.

I'd call your neuro, too, to let he/she know about your falls.  Your body is yelling, "Whoaaaa!"  and you're going through lots of stress right now, which can cause exacerbations.  Let your neuro know too about the eye problems.

I haven't had time to call doc today. My Fridays are awful. The "veil" stopped, but I think I'm definitely in an exacerbation because I am so exhausted, too much noise and I feel like my head is going to split apart, pressure in my eye, and almost fell a couple of times today. A lot of stress. My father is dying of cancer, 2 of 4 daughters decided I was the mother from hell while they were little (LOL, I'm as mild as they come, and they are over 29). So, I must be doing something right....If my eye is still bad on Monday, I will call my eye doc. I'm just afraid of prednizone cause I had weird reactions to it last time I was on it briefly.

Willow,
Have you contacted your doctor today?  I believe that our eyes are not to be messed with and when they act up they need to  be checked immediately.  Too many things can go permanently wrong with our vision.  Please check in and let us know how you are .

Be well, Lulu

Hi there, I really do hope that you have called your doctor. I would advise that if you have a good eye doctor, you could start there, my primary eye care doc. is great, and he would tell me over the phone if I needed to come in asap for a check-up. Your eye care doc. will be able to tell if it is in the eye or is a neurological problem, and even can refer you faster to a neurologist if you do not already have one.

I'm sorry that no one replied to your post sooner, I hope that you are doing ok. Keep in touch, ok?I really hope this is nothing serious, and that you have gotten reassurance from a medical professional by now.

I haven't been here for quite a while cause I've had a rough coupe of months. Fatigue is awful, and now this thing with my eye. I just don't know if I should call the doctor in the morning or wait until Monday. I could really use your help, friends.
