Question about MS-like symptoms

Hello! I am new to this forum and community and I'm hoping to find answers before I loose my mind. My husband rushed me to the ER last Thursday evening with what we though were heart attack symptoms, but ended up leaving two days later with no answers, except that my heart is healthy.

I typed into the yahoo search window the symptoms I am having and found posts here at this forum that sounded too similar to ignore. The chest pain that sent me to the ER is a horrendous squeezing pain that feels like my entire chest is wrapped in a circular vice that is squeezing the air out of me. The pain is so intense that I feel short of breath. I also have a stabbing, burning pain in one spot that is to the upper left of my heart that feels like someone is stabbing me through from behind with a hot poker. It's shocking and takes my breath away. The pain that goes down my arm and up into my collar bone and neck. they ran all the tests and my heart is fine, so we've ruled that out. Does this sound at all like what they call the MS hug, and can it also be a symptom of another type of disorder?

If anyone is bored out of their mind and would like to read my journal entry about my health journey (not my family's...that's for questions later I guess about my daughter and myself) please do so and let me know what you think. I warn you though...it's LONG!!!!!

Thank you with all my hurting heart,
Tina

Hi Shell! Thanks for the bump!

I hope to be here awhile and make a few friends :o)  Since I'm at home so much more now, and my friends don't understand, I'm kinda hurting for female dialogue. Don't get me wrong; I absolutely LOVE my kids to death, but it's not the same.

By the way, my chest pain seems to be happening more in the evenings and at night. Not sure if that means anything or not. My arthritis only bothers me in the mornings.

Go in and join the thyroid community anyway, there are a lot of guys there who have been told the bloods are normal and they are still getting sicker, the doctors wont treat them they move on till they find a doctor who will..If you have your results and post them there someone will help you to see if the look normal..TSH T4 T3..Dawn

Hi! yes, I've had many thyroid tests, TSH, free T3, freeT4, etc...They are always negative, which is surprising because my mom's family are all hypo. I really want to find out what this is so I can start to feel better, but I'm so scared we will end up broke and still have no answers. I just really need to hear someone tell me I'm not going crazy because I feel like I'm fighting this alone.

Writing the journal entries were a bit cathartic though! It felt like I got quite a bit off my chest :) Wanted to do all this and ask questions last Thursday when I found this forum, but I started feeling really bad and had to get off the computer.

New weird thing I did yesterday...my feet were so cold (like they usually are) and I went to get my thick, fuzzy socks. I unfolded them and started to put one on my hand and stopped, looked down, shook my head and said out loud, "what in the world am I doing?" my daughter and I laughed so hard. at least I didn't burst into tears like I usually do over really stupid things.
