Quick question on fatigue and coordination

I'll have more posts to explain these questions.

Please answer Yes or No.

If Yes, then say the frequency.  i.e. one time and never again, or sometimes alot but now that you think of it, it hasn't happended in several weeks/months/years.

When you sneeze have your legs ever buckled?  (Sneeze means a real sneeze not a small minor one.)

When you have a real belly laugh have your legs ever buckled?  (This is the type where you are standing up and someone tells a joke you weren't expecting and you let out a sudden laugh.)

When you cough (connected with an illness) have your legs ever buckled?  (Like getting over a major cold and you are trying to have "productive" coughs.)

I asked several friends these questions yesterday and they all thought I was strange.  No one admitted to any of these problems.  Each time I had a standoff - they thought I was making this up and I thought they weren't being honest in their answers.  We had really good laughs!

Hi there! You've responded to a thread that's six years old. It looks like Jules hasn't posted on the website in four years. It's unlikely you'll get a direct response.

Do you have a query about multiple sclerosis? The members of our forum would be happy to address it if we knew more detail. Feel free to start a fresh post by clicking the orange "post a question" button at the top of this page and we'll help all we can!

Hi Jules
Concerning your question "When you sneeze have your legs ever buckled?": Have you also experienced sudden tingling (lasting for max. 1 sec.) in your leg(s) when sneezing?

My legs buckle often out of nowhere it seems.  Only once did I notice them to buckle when I heard a motorcylce outside.  It was loud and my legs buckled.  I know its not what you asked but similar I think.  Anamaria

My legs never buckle, but I do have to watch to make sure my bladder is empty for all of those things you mentioned (hehe)!

I know what you mean about thinking a symptom is normal--that's why I ask my husband questions like, "Does your eyes shake when you're tired?"  and "Are your eyes crossed in the morning when you get up?"  I really thought this was normal for a long time . . .  I can relate to a lot of things that you have shared in your posts, Jules.  I hope you get that stronger MRI  on a closed machine.
