My back surgery update, no complications :-D

I  wanted to update everyone…

I still have the original pain and now the surgical pain..

I was able to come home the same day that I had  back surgery, since the surgery will moved up earlier in the day, the Dr said it was my choice to spent the night or go home,  There's no place home,  I got home yesterday around 6pm.

I won't know for a few weeks  about the pain reduction,  the L3 nerve was swollen and that will  a little bit of time
to heal.

I have the following meds.

         anti-inflammatory

         muscle relaxer

         antibiotics

         pain med.

I need to watch out for infection and swelling.

The pain pill  I take every six hours, I found out if I split the pill and take it every  three hours that seems to help a little more. The pain meds really aren't that effective..

Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer so far, it so hot out East- flooding up North and dry and Fires in the West.
Just try to make the best of it.

Take care
JB

I would like to add - I didn't know I would most of my back shaved --
"those poor nurses"  my wife said .

Also had these pretty white compression stockings on both leggs  that went all the uo the to the hip to help prevent blood clots..

I told the CNA don't look at my junk .. We all got a chuckle.

If there is any humor, I've only seen nurses in white stocking - but my white compression stocking showed my hairy leggs to , I did ask my wife to snap a picture of that ..

That's it..
