Something new...could this be from MS?

Something new has popped up. I got waaay overheated before we got an air conditioner put in. Heat wave struck. Anyway, my hand and most of my arm is half numb and tingling. Almost like I'm holding an electrical cord. Anyone else ever have this? It's making me nervous. You know...what now?

Hi! We got the heat wave also & i was only out in it for about 45 min. but didn't have the air in on in the house yet & now I'm suffering the consequences. I haven't been diagnosed yet but something is definately going on here!! I don't hurt or anything but it made me extremely weak & shaky. I too feel like electricity is running through me & its weird but it even feels like its vibrating. That was yesterday & I'm still very weak (of course it was hot again today also). I have been resting mst of the day with the exception of church this morning & I'm just not getting over it. I wonder how long this generally lasts?Does anyone know or does it just depend on the person??

Hi Wi-Wo, Yep, it sure did get hot here and its not even May.  If you are having a pseudo-exacerbation from the heat, the problem should resolve on its own eventually.  But if it doesn't feel better by morning, give your neuro a call - perhaps a dose of steroids to reduce the swelling is in order?
