Spasticity is the devil!

As I have been waiting for my payment to process for my COBRA plan, I ran out of my meds. Sometime in the middle of the night I got muscle spasms in my left leg so bad that not only did my leg bend into unnatural positions, but it felt as if someone showed up to rip the muscles from my calf. I am not still in excruciating pain, but I still cannot straiten my left leg. I did overdue it at the gym on Friday, so that could be a factor, but that was mostly quad exercises. I planned on taking a few days off from working my legs at the gym and focusing on upper body, this totally confirms that I will be doing just that! I sort of wish that I had a YMCA membership instead of a membership at a small gym. There really are no cardio options there that don't involve legs. Walking on the treadmill is not even going to be an option today.

Oops I mean that I could NOT handle Baclofen.

Unfortunately I could handle Baclofen. I had horrible side effects. They were so bad that I was afraid to try anything else. I now take Neurtontin and Flexeril, which works for the most part but it's not 100% fool proof. I ended up just refilling my prescription for one week so that I have meds until my payment processes.

I agree - spasticity is the devil. Even on just about the max of Baclofen, sometimes it feels like my body is trying to dis-member itself - hamstrings, pelvic floor, etc. I feel your pain.
I hope the COBRA kicks in soon so you can get your meds!
