I would contact the Natl. MS Society chapter in your area. They should be able to help. Until I spoke with someone there, I'd keep the fact that you have been diagnosed to yourself.
There is no point in making the process more difficult by telling the insurance companies about your MS. It looks like there are 3 chapters in Florida.
