Hasn't Q'land been in the wars, I think Anna has done a good job, how I would hate to have her job at the moment, she seems as premier to be constantly dealing with one disaster after another.
I feel for the Queensland people affected by floods and now by cyclone, it is going to really affect the economy, tourism and our price of bananas. Some communities were just getting back on their feet after losing all their banana crops to Cyclone Larry and now they lose them again, so not only do they have their homes damaged but they also lose their ability to earn an income. My prayers and thoughts are with all those affected by our weather patterns in the last few months.
I just holidayed up in Q'land while the floods were happening, the Q'land people rely heavily on tourism, the clean up for the floods has been done and the Qland people are hurting from loss of tourism dollars, there is still many, many parts of Q'land not affected by storm or floods.
My prayers are with those families who have lost loved ones in the floods and lost homes and property in the cyclone.

I am very much thinking of everyone in Queensland and especially my precious family - my brother, his wife and their three small children. It sounds really terrifying and we shall be watching the news praying that it is not as catastophic as predicted. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone facing this danger.

I was hoping it would sputter out or at least swerve off to the water and spare your country - Queensland has had enough. Be safe and check in when you can, Lulu
Wow - "most catastrophic storm ever"
I'd say stay far away from the coast! Be careful!

I just heard 'Yasi' is nothing like any other cyclone QLD has experienced, its going to be big and ugly, lots of destruction is on its way, not good at all.
What on earth is going on with the weather, seriously its gone haywire all over the globe.
Stay safe...........JJ
