I also didn't just look up my symptoms and stumble onto MS again others with MS are telling me it sounds like it to them and to me it explains why they can't find out the cause because even though I've stressed it seems like nerve damage and after the last MRI I lost coverage. So I haven't seen a doctor in a few years (just suffering in silence started to think I mental and nothing is wrong with me) I really think the last doctor was leaning towards it. Still don't mean its MS but he seemed concerned with the lesions (I didn't know why until about 4 months ago when I started researching) seen that lesions in a MRI are part of finding it.
Also a key symptom that stuck out to me was tiredness that hits about afternoon time even if I'm just watching TV also related that to tossing and turning at night not getting good sleep but even with sleeping pills the next day I would feel tired.
Thanks again for answering and all your suggestions until I get insurance back I feel stuck :(
Depression only happens when feeling bad
I didn't say the wreck caused it the stress of the wreck brought the symptoms out. I'm saying I always related the blurry vision and the off balance to pain. But I have always said that it was nerve damage of some kind. I have seen about 20 or more people say they didn't know they has it until something like a wreck or major stress situation accured.
It's been years of treating for tons of things it not like yesterday I started with these issues then decided its MS I fought idea for 2 years not even mentioning it to doctors. Anyone who has it and has see me at my worse have said its that.
They have also said seizures, fibermyalgia, and so on. I hope it's not MS although an answer would be great. And I pray for those who have it.
Not saying that you don't have MS, but it is a disease of the Central Nervous System, basically, the immune system slowly destroys itself. It isn't caused by something like a wreck.
I suggest that you have follow up MRI's. That and observations by a neurologist are what documents MS. There are over 20 mimic diseases that look like, sound like, and act like MS. Many of us spend many years trying to get a diagnosis, only not wanting it when we get it.
I have to agree with my fellow forum members, I don't see anything that points to MS. Almost any disease you "google" will include MS somewhere in the "possible" causes because our symptoms are so "scattered" and different.
I hope that you find what is causes your problem!
Thank you all for answering and I hope treatment is available even through in 14 years they can't find and treat one. I should also say no insurance or having family dr is slowing me down from getting concerns looked at.
My last MRI was a few years ago so hopefully the next will so if there was changes
The symptoms have been going on for 14 years or longer. The fainting(off balance) I say fainting, blurry eyes, pain trough my upper legs? The burning in my arm and legs have throughout in 14 years or longer
Did I mention I have lesins on brain several - I've been checked for seizures and had bone scans and EKG's 200 needles stuck in me at once to measure nerve pain - I also have loss weight throughout it all slowly (once wore a size 14/16 or bigger now I wear 3 and trust I eat) I read that it effects your stomach & I didn't mention the urge to pee but not having too and no bladder or urinary track infections. all these things people with MS complain about in a form. All my life I've stabled into walls clumsy things I just never thought any of that stuff meant anything. I could be wrong like you all have said and again other people have said this before and I thought they was crazy until I researched the symptoms real life people say they have. But we've checked into so many other things.
Sorry, but I have to agree with JJ; nothing you've written here seems at all suggestive of MS to me, either. Of course, I'm no doctor, but I believe you should see one. Make a list of these symptoms, try to put them in a timeline order, and make an appointment with your primary care physician. Explain to them your concerns and suspicions, and see what they think. We'll pray that you get not only answers, but effective treatment, even relief.
Hi and welcome,
I'm sorry but I personally don't actually see anything, that you've mentioned that is specific to MS or even MSish but if you are concerned you may have MS, please discuss your situation with your dr.
Cheers........JJ
