Thank you

Thanks to all who posted replies to my question. I am new to forums, so am not used to how to reply and stuff like that.
Reading the comments and lots of the other posts has made me think back over my life. I remember, about 10 years ago when I had a long period [4/6mths] of weird symptoms, similar to those I experienced last year and am experiencing now. At that time I was receiving CBT for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Clinical Depression.
My GP said that a lot of the symptoms could be due to my mental health at the time and that I may have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, brought on by the immense stress/pressure that I had been living with for a long time. Therefore, I wonder if what has been going on recently may be a third episode, especially as some of the symptoms remained up until this latest flare up.
Unfortunately, when one is being treated for mental health issues, a lot of physical symptoms tend to be assigned the label of 'it's part of the depression'.

Carol,
You are doing just find figuring out this forum - remember we all were new at this one time or another.

The mental health question always seems to muddy the waters for doctors.  It can take a while for them to see that there can also be other disease processes going on in addition to depression.

Hang in there and I hope you get some answers,
Lulu
