Get well girl,
Ren
Shoot Lu! So so sorry to hear your news. Thank g-d you went to the ER. Please keep us updated. Lots of love and hugs to you,
Michelle
Given the cause of your labored breathing, I am so glad you had the wherewithal to go to the ER.
You're right that you can expect a few days in the hospital; most important thing is to get this taken care of properly. Hope you stabilize soon and get your INR levels to where the need to be so you can go back to the comfort of home. Also hope that the original clot is not extensive and resolves itself quickly.
Can understand you wishing this not another health issue added to the mix. I hope you fare better than I did with the Coumadin.
(((Audrey)))
Lulu - oh gosh girl. I will be sending lots of positive energy your way. Please try to keep us updated. We worry you know?
(((Hugs)))
Right place right time. So lucky.
Hopefully a short stay

I'm sorry. I'm glad you are getting the care you need, and I pray for a speedy recovery.
No that a heck of the way to get out cooking, :-D
You need to be on the mend, football pre-season is about to begin.
Get well soon.
take care & best wishes
JB
Thanks everyone. Breathing is no better today buti know the clot has to dissolve and stop blocking the airways.
I did my first lovenox injection last night. After three years of using the copax one auto injector I did t give myself a straight injection. I will have to do that at home until the Coumadin levels are correct in my blood. I would rather learn myself than have hubby do it.
JB - isn't football an armchair sport? Perfect thing to wach while recovering.
I'm behaving and doing as told. Well as much as I can.
Wow! Hope you feel better real soon and are up and about. You and your fellow moderators make this such a great resource! But rest and take care!
I am lurking around the site again = have follow up MRI and appt with MS neuro next week. Things are stable!
Carol

So glad you went to the hospital and are being treated. Clots are a very dangerous thing. I'm sorry you're going through this.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Laura
Hey Lu,
OMG!!!
You sure deserve a break! You were so smart to get yourself to the ER!
Wishing you a short hospital stay and a speedy recovery :)
Take care of yourself,
(((Huge hugs)))
Deb
Oh, no! Do you think the blood clot is from the foot?
They kept me in there four days. I thought I'd never get out. After the copaxone and betaseron injections, the lovenox was a breeze!
There's evidence to support increased blood clotting from MS-related immune problems. (anti-phospholipase syndrome) I had the blood clot in my leg that turned into a PE, but it wasn't as bad.
Oh Lu! I'm so glad you went to the hospital, omg, it could have been so
disasterious otherwise. You just cool your little jets girl and let them take good care of you. I'm sorry you keep getting more piled on your plate! God speed your recovery and get you back home where you belong. In the meantime you will be in my thoughts and prayers hon!
Sending hugs and healing vibes with this,
Lulu I am glad that they found it quickly! You take care and just lay back and do what the Dr tells you. Praying for you!
Thoughts and prayers for you Lulu! My grandmother had this happen about 6 years ago and she is doing great now I hope you have a speedy recovery and adapt to the blood thinners well!
Cheers,
Belle
My prayers are with you and your husband. I just about came unglued when this happened to my husband. Take care of yourself.
(((Hugs,)))
Tammy
Breathe well and go with the flow.
Lulu, I'm so glad that you are so good at listening to your body, figuring out that this was not normal and getting to the ER soon enough! Heal well and take good care.
All the best to you,
Dagun
I am home - the hospitalist had offered to send me home yesterday because everything checked out stable and he thought I would be ok. He also said he could justify keeping me more days and I asked for the one additional day. I was hoping my breathing would improve some.
The lovenox injections aren't bad, thanks to having lots of stomach fat to inject into. I am also on coumadin, Just what I need - two more drugs.
Listening to the voices when something is wrong can be hard to do for fear of being so wrong, but I long ago figured embarassment is better than not seeking treatment and being totally wrong.
