Tiredness a Week after First Infusion

I am tired still a week after first infusion.  I tire quickly anyway. I work full time and am now a single parent after husband passed away due to heart attack.  I also had a headache and joint pain right after the infusion.  Will Tysabri help with tiredness after a few infusions?

Sounds like your life is tiring. It could also be a delay in emotion after starting a DMD. I am guessing you were recently diagnosed? That can make you tired. I would let my doctor know in case it is a relapse. Take care of yourself.

If you are currently in a relapse, that needs to be dealt with separately. Tysabri will ideally make your relapses less frequent, but it will not directly effect your MS symptoms.

I would definitely mention all of what you've said here to your medical team and get some professional feedback on what side-effects are likely to subside with future infusions, what might be a relapse, and what might just be coincidental.

Hi there, I haven't used Tysabri before but I'm sure others will chime in. I think there is some fatigue associated with afterwards if I remember some comments from previous posts.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time of it though,
