When they have Sex on the medical forms, I always think of it as a yes or no answer, not M or F.
Shows where my mind is.

Thank you everyone for responding :)
Always check the "Health Pages." There is a whole world of information on those pages, thanks to Quix and so many other of our great Forum members.
If you read something you still do not understand, please come back to the Forum and ask questions.
Thank you Quix for reminding us all of the Health Page on acronyms.
GP - General Practitioner - which is australian for PCP(which i thought sounded like an illicit drug!)
SX - symptoms
DX - diagnosis
PCP - Primary care provider - this is a designation used in the US.
Neuro - neurologist
DMD - disease modifying drug
CRAB - Copaxone, Rebif, Avonex, Betaseron - usually in reference to "which DMD are you on?"
ON - Optic Neuritis
What other acronyms do we use?
Being very new here, could you please tell me what sx is please.
I have tried to find out using the search this community, but to no avail haha.........
Most I have figured out, but this one has me stumped :)
Thanks for enlightening me... I am a bit slow with the abbreviations and this is not an Aussie term.
Cheers, Udkas.
but i do know what lol means, slightly broken.
I know what you mean. It took me awhile to get the hang of the lingo.
Zilla use to play jokes on me. I would abbreviate symptoms by using SX. I would say I was having horrible SX and Zilla would remark..."How can you think about sex and why is it so horrible." LOL
I don't use that abbreviation very much anymore LOL.
I can remember when I was a complete forum newbie having to ask what 24/7 meant. (Quite a few years ago)
