Any new symptom that lasts longer than 24 hours can be classed a relapse as I understand it.

At my last neuro visit we talked about a silver-dollar sized patch I had on my right knee. The doctor listed it as a relapse and actually talked about steroid treatment.  We decided to wait it out since it was a small area involved and not particularly bothersome.

If this keeps up, I would call you doctor again and discuss this further.  Like everyone else here, I am usually confused as to what I should and shouldn't call about and what is or isn't significant.

be well, Lulu

Hey, chica, how's the leg today?

I think that the increased numbness was a result of overdoing it this weekend - camping and being outside in the heat always brings on a pseudo-relapse.

I'm not sure what to do about the symptoms - they can't exactly fix it, can they?  Well, they can inject stem cells to repair existing damage, but they can't stop new damage from happening.

I'm getting real tired of my weak right leg.  I deal with it okay when I have energy, like today, but on days when I'm fatigued and woozy, the weak right leg just seems like the icing on the cake.  All I can do is sleep, and I seem to be doing a lot of that this week!

hi there, I have been having a very bad time with my left side, my whole leg and arm and body... it started with tingling, then numbness, weakness, and now parts of my left side I can't even feel.

it's getting harder to use this computer and I think the heat is not helping.  I need to get a AC.  fans dont seem to help.

I couldn't sleep last night and today the Fatigue is getting draining me.

enough of that... hope you feel better soon.
I'm keeping my timeline up with these symptoms.

take care

Your post made me question ..how bad does the numbness have to be before it is treated. ...and how do we all know when to seek further advice?. I think it is a difficult one and part of me is resistant to taking too many steroids although I know that they can stop the symptoms.

Anyhow hope the numbness does not last too long.

Love Sarah x

I hate that vibrational, shaky, jello-like weak feeling in my thighs.  I have it from time to time.

Hi, Mary, is your doc not willing to give a curse of steroids for this very new problem?

Is the left leg weak as well as numb?  I started out with a numb right leg, which turned into a weak and numb right leg.  Just call me Debbie Downer! ;-)
