Lately I'm just so tired. It's not the bone-crushing fatigue that Quix and others describe. I can function when I need to. But I am often overwhelmed with weariness, lassitude and low energy. I want to lie down a lot. I have lots of stuff to do and I do want to do it. Haven't lost interest and don't feel depressed. But it's hard to get up and go, much harder than is usually my style.
I also have separate issues going on. The day after Christmas I caught a nasty cold that I couldn't shake for several weeks. There were indications of a secondary sinus thing. I dosed myself a lot with OTC meds, and it would get better and worse, but I either felt dopey with the meds or miserable with the cold symptoms. I continue to suffer from insomnia to one extent or other. I almost never get a really good night's sleep, and have prescriptions for this which I don't like to take regularly, but I do take some maybe 3 times a week anyway. I just can't help it.
Got some digestive problems too, and am wondering also about my blood sugar. The bottom line of this, of course, is to see my PCP, so I made an appointment for tomorrow. Enough of this is enough.
Clearly not every illness we get is from neuro stuff, and most of what I'm describing isn't. But what I'm asking your comments about is whether the tiredness part might be. To me it doesn't seem to match what others here contend with. Your responses will be helpful, so thank you.
