What do you guys think?

To: Anyone
I have been getting pain in my laft eye every 3 weeks or so. Lasts for 2 to 3 days. Take Gabapentin 200mg 3 xday, plus 800 mg IB profin 1 hour or 2 after 3xday.Kind of helps.

Every morning I wake up with numb fingers and toes. My hands hurt, like they are swelled up. I cant even make a fist with either. My big toe and the next 2 over have been numb for a week now. Fingers and hands get alittle better during the day. Left hand alot weaker than the right.

I deliver mail now, and on my route after walking about 3.5 miles. My left leg is so weak. I noticed in the snow my foot prints were not in a straight line kind like I go alittle to the left then straight and then alittle to the right. I can fell my body kind of sway like that. I am always very tired after 3 or 5  hours of work.

Also, I have this area on my back by my spine and shoulder blade about the size of a grapefruit that has pins and needels feeling all the time and electrical shocks feelings, everyday, constinately. It iches too really bad. Also, when I or my husband iches it I can tell that its numb in that area.

I am trying to wait until I go to see the Neuro-Ophthalmologist on May 20th @ 2:00, but I am starting to wonder if I should go to see my regular neuro for this. He is one of those I think it is all anxiety, stress, in your head doctors. So, I am affraid it is going to be a waiste of time.
What do you guys think?

Rae

I'm with SL on this one.  Ask the neuro-ophth's office for an expedited visit due to increasing eye symptoms or ask to be called for the earliest cancellation.

Alternatively be checked again by your ophthalmologist.  Has he seen you for this pain?

The other stuff can be dealt with later.  Eyes take a higher priority.

Let us know what you work out.

Hey, sorry Rae, I posted my comment to this one on your other thread. Said I think you should go to the Neuro Optha sooner.  Call them, see if they will take you since you are having such a problem. . . . Address the other stuff at a later date once you get this figured out. . .

hang in there,
SL
