What is the pain from ON like?

I seem to be having a flair of sx.  I saw my neuro last week and she gave me one dose of solumedrol for the SEVERE headache and TN pain I was having.  It has helped, but not eliminated the pain.

The new sx she discovered Friday was nystagmus with leftward gaze (I was seeing double).  Today, ditting in front of the computer, I'm finding it very hard to focus with my left eye.  I have pain but it's not what I would think of that would be ON pain.  I feel like there's sandpaper *behind* my eye.  It hurts to move it, but not in an achey way.

Is this worth a call?  I don't know if my vision is worse today than Friday, but I don't think it is--I think it's just more noticable being in front o a computer.

I would recommend a neuro or pedi ophthalmologist. General Ophthalmologists "usually" are not as good at double vision and nystagmus. Just a thought,

Good luck, I am sorry u r going thru this,

Thanks, LA.  I called my neuro's office and the nurse said to go see an opthalmologist.  I'm going to try to get in today.  It may be nothing, because I don't notice any particular vision loss.  Also, the pain is achier today.

I would say it is worth a call.  ON can be different for everyone.  When I first started with ON I though my mascara had gone bad and I had an infection in my eye. But it turned out to be ON.

I would get it checked out if I were you..
