Pastor Dan - The chocolate caramel nut ice cream sounds great! :-) I totally get the other statement and agree. I hope there are beaches, oceans, and Palm trees in Heaven because that is where I want to sit in the sun!
Michelle - thank you and that trip to the Cheese Cake Factory sounds like a great plan!
Wobbly- Thank you. Do you get tired of fighting it? I am tired of fighting against it. I think that is wearing me out as much as the MS.
Udkas-A massage is what I would like to get but have never set one up. I need to do that. Wine gives you a headache...that is FUNNY!! Another thing I have wanted to do is get back on a horse and ride but I am not sure my legs could handle it the next day. My favorite thing in the world next to being by the ocean is horse back riding. I am not sure I could get on the horse anymore!!!! HA!!
Thanks so much for all of the replies. Makes me feel better. :o)

Chocolate milk sounds good, or ice chocolate, lunch with some dear friends and time out to do something for "you", something that you have always wanted to do, it doesn't have to be a big thing, it might be something like just having a facial or a nail manicure done ( I have done neither of these), I am not very girly, but things like that are good for the soul and self esteem, even just getting your favourite video etc.
Sometimes a change of routine, some good friends and a good laugh can be the best medicine of all.
Thinking of you, I hope that you do feel better soon, and that things stabilise, alcohol is not that great, I think whine might be better than the wine, at least you can release stress with a whine, where a wine just gives you a headache!
Cheers,
Udkas.

Hi there, sorry to hear your having so many things happening so fast. I too have PPMS and find my body at times fall apart, but still it will find abit of strength to come back to abit more normal...not completly but not as bad as when it first happens.
I too have woken up...stood up and it flooded... it was a shock cause I didn't feel anything till it happened.
hang in there friend and we are here for you

(((LA))),
Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and am so sorry things just keep sliding back. I would like to extend some M@Ms to your regimen, and as you cant have alcohol, the next best thing would be a chocolate malt!
Also, I think if another trip gets planned to The Cheescake Factory, that would also help immensely!
Seriously, I am sending big warm hugs to you and hope things will take a change for the better...and soon.
XO ~ Michelle
Lots of gastronomic options have been presented here; I'm not sure I can add anything there, but maybe Quix meant chocolate-caramel ice cream. With nuts (I'd suggest walnuts or pecans in this situation). Strawberries are optional, but if included, they must be fresh and chocolate-dipped, as Udkas suggests.
I don't know how you'll see this, but I've often been comforted by the knowledge that whatever we suffer in this life is temporary, and as far as our own bodies are concerned, ultimately irrelevant. Regardless, I will pray that the discomfort, indignity, and inconvenience are minimized in your life, and that the plus side of your balance sheet grows more clearly focused than the wet side of your bed sheet.
Whine your heart out; that's one big reason we're here together.
Oh, I sometimes have some issues I don't talk about, too. I think we all do.
Thanks Udkas,
Here is another whine, I am allergic to the fermentation so alcohol is out for me. However I LOVE a nice thick shake or chocolate milk!! :-)
And of course the caramel chocolates and strawberries sound very good!
Being an Aussie and we are known for our drinking habits, I would swap the whine for a wine... but I would add those caramel chocolates to the mix or chocolate dipped fresh strawberries are rather scrumptious with champagne...
Hugs,
Udkas.
Kathy-chocolate is a good idea! we have some left over from Christmas. I should go grab some. :0)
Linda- thank you.
Quixotic- Carmel is my other favorite!! Thank you for the hug. It is greatly needed.
Kathykush- Can't be from Indiana and not be a Colts fan!! My husband and son are so excited. I will be watching the game. I have a good friend from Louisiana. This should be fun! ;o}

I've always found that excellent chocolates go well with a whine...
I've done the wetting thing 4 times, but then, I'm a year older than you, ha ha. I'm not trying to make light of your situation, just trying to keep laughing, keep away from despair.
And I'm not experiencing anywhere near the issues that you are. I feel for you, I really do.
I hope you share how you're feeling with yur doctor, and you can work out something that will help you feel more in control.
Kathy
My doctor has talked about PPMS with me. He said it would cause insurance problems and he wants me to stay on the Beta. I have been on Avonex already. I am not sure if TY is the next step or what.
I see him again next week and am not sure what to expect.
For the first time in my adult life I work up this morning wet. Oh lovely. I got to the bathroom because it became a flood but this is not what I would call aging gracefully.

This is a great place to enjoy a good whine... If you can't talk about how bad you feel here, then where can you go? You have my sympathies.
Have you been diagnosed with PPMS?
