It's been ages since I returned my discarded sharps to the pharmacy.  I was cleaning the basement yesterday and came across a big stash of them stored in juice bottles, sharps containers, ziploc baggies!
My husband said he is thinking of having me committed for hoarding.  Anyway, I bought a huge sharps container at the pharmacy, and this morning as I filled it with all these discarded sharps, out fell an earring I lost ages ago and was just thinking about the other day as I tidied my jewellery box.  I had given up on ever finding it but am glad I kept the other one. It was missing longer than I realized as there were Rebif sharps in that container, which I only took for a short time four years ago!  It's not hugely valuable - not a diamond from Tiffany's, lol - but not cheap either, and very cute.  I am left baffled as to how it ended up in that bottle, but happy to have found it!

A sharps container makes for a pretty good safe.  Who wants to stick their hand in and get stuck?  Soooooo glad you still had the other one.

Lulu, you need to get your pool kids on this one.  Didn't they find a ring for you before?  If you don't find your earring maybe you can gift the singleton to hubby and send him off to get a piercing?

Congrats on finding the needle in the haystick, so to speak :)

I'm always amazed how you find things when you're not looking for them...  and then wonder just how the heck it got there in the first place :)
