Validation

I was thinking that the most important thing for any of us is validation. To be told be Doctors and others what is happening to you is real. I saw my GP today and sometimes she can't do much for me but she does do that. She believes what I tell her. She does not think I am crazy. She tells me I have so many illnesses and sometimes Doctors do not know what to do.

I think that is what all of on the forum want is validation from Doctors families friends and each other. So I say to you whatever you are experience is real and I believe you. Whether you have MS or if MS is causing your symptoms I do not know I am not a doctor but I do know your experience is real and there is a lot medical science does not know.

Amen to that Alex..... I am still being told, annother opinion before we confinue further with the Copaxone.... ( I have seen more Dr's on this Island, and the mainland, ) , that they almost know me by name.

The last time I went, ( last week few weeks), I had my yearly visit that medical allows, and then was told that I needed to see yet another neuo. to say if the Copaxone is working.  So, another MRI with contrast for brain, and cernival spine,  to see what is happening.  Had one done in June, and they found 20 l foci  in each hemisphee, and black holes, and 4 big lesions, as well as a large Calcuim deposit.    ............. I don't need anything else, I don't think....

Well, we must follows THEIR rules, and they can not seem to want to follow ours.

I so agree Alex, VALIDATION is key, and it keeps us from thinking that we are crazy........... ( though, there are lots of days that I think that I am) .... anyways,

That is my input...

I really needed to see that today. Thank you very much. I hope you feel better. We are so fortunate that even with all you are going through, you take the time to think of others.

Gentle hugs,
Minnie

Thank you Alex, that is what so many of us need. You are so right, I don´t talk about my symptoms to anyone except my parents and husband, but I don´t even wanna tell them much.

Because I know I sound so crazy at times, I know some of this sound like I have just "lost it". I would like to have a doctor like you have, my neuro is ok though, I pretty sure he does believe me, but not like yours do. They need to have something concrete, something they can see. That is my problem I look to healthy, my blood works "shows" I´m healthy.

I hope you´re feeling better, hope you have a great weekend :)

My best,
Dagun
