botox for the armpid scheduled...relapse starting

Hi all,
I have an injection of Botox scheduled for later this week.  I definately started a relapse within the last 3 days.  I don't know if I should call my neuro now or wait until after the injection.  He is a litle steroid crazy and I don't know that I should mix solumedrol and Botox too close together.  Thig is, the armpit sweaing and allergy to antiperspirants is a life long problem and the insurance finally agreed to apy for it.  They have already shiped the med to my doctor.

I have urodynamics testing tomorrow.  What should I do?  Wait on the report form the urologist then call my neuro  By then I will have already had the botox.

Called neuro today.  Told his nurse about the bladder Sxs and about the Botox.  I am definately going down-hill.  Dermo siad that the Botox was injected only in the fat and sweat glands and that it should not cause a systemic reaction.

I think I would call either your Neuro or the doctor that is doing the Botox to see if they know of any contradiction in having the two things close together first of all. Also the Botox might be able to be stored until a sufficient time has passed if they can't be taken within a short period of time.

I would do what your instinct is telling you ... I've read good things about botox and perspiration. I hope it helps for you.  And also, wishing you well with the urodynamic testing - I hope it gives answers.
