can i draw

i was disable by my doctor and he has me not woking anymore because of having ms. my question is. can i draw workmens comp. another question. when i go for my interview at ss office.what should i exspect from them? and other than having my appacation filled out and doctors notes saying he disabled me. and the other things they ask you to bring. what do they really look for and do at this time? i want to thank all those who have commented on my questions so far also. any help here on this one i can use right now. my interview is comming up soon.

Lulu is right. You need to work with your doctor on these issues. We are not legally trained here.

But just one comment. Workers comp is for people injured on the job. MS is not a job injury. Just let your lawyer handle this.

Hi Lenny,
I haven't been through the SS process so I can't answer your question.  Your attorney should talk to you about what to expect in your interview.  They know your situation and the town that you are in and how it is handled locally.  You really want to be asking your questions to the right people - that is your attorney and your doctor.  

Can we help you with questions you might have about the disease of MS ?  I'm afraid there isn't much we can do for you about the disability questions.
