OT: Jayden has arrived

I just want to share my excitement and happiness with my forum family.  Jayden has made his arrival at 6 lbs 11oz, 19 ins.  He is the most perfect baby!!!!!  Even if he has wore his Nana out getting here.

However, I want to say his mom was a trooper and I am so proud of her.  It took 36 hours from the time we checked in to the time of his birth.  That is another funny story for another day.  maybe I will journal about it  as soon as things calm down????

Anyway, I am posting some pics.

Congratulations GRANDMA, or will you be called, "Nana," or something else?  With my five grandchildren, I am known to some as Nanee and to the other's, they call my Mee-Maw.  I think it's what their parents chose for them to call me.  I don't mind, as long as it's a nice name....LOL

As you may remember, my family just greeted a GREAT-Grandson into the world, so I know the sheer excitement of holding that new life in your arms.  Smelling that precious baby skin and if you're like me, kissing and smooching every part, including the baby's little toes.  I just can't get enough.

With new life, there comes new hope.  I'll be waiting for the journal on Jayden's birth and lots and lots of pictures.  I am so happy for you Terry.  I know it seemed like she would never get here.  Enjoy that precious one; they aren't little for long, as you well know....

Congrats again to you and new mommie.  It's so good to hear this kind of news on the Forum.  These babies have many Aunts and Uncle's on this Forum.

Nothing can beat that feeling  of cuddling your brand new grandchild, I have 2 but the youngest is 5 - time another of my kids got going I think!

Oh, Congrats!!!  How wonderful.  Smooch on that baby for me.

We had a perfect baby here last fall.  I became a Great Aunt for the first time.  When she told us he was 7#, 3oz and 21 1/2 inches I said, "Oh, he's lanky,"  To which the proud new mom said, "Oh NO! He's PERFECT!"
