is it in the family?

I don't understand why but when I try to use my thumb and point at one particular thing my thumb wont cooperate it goes way off the path that i want it to go why is that?? And i also suffer from itching that cannot be relieved sometime i scratch so hard i begin to bleed. What do I do???  My Brother has been diagnosed with MS and my mother with fibromyalgia.  Unsure if there is a connection.

"MS is not directly inherited, but genetics play an important role in who gets the disease. While the risk of developing MS in the general population is 1/750, the risk rises to 1/40 in anyone who has a close relative (parent, sibling, child) with the disease."

Having MS or fibro in the family doesn't make you that much more likely to have MS, but it sounds like you should talk to a neurologist.

Your skin itching - I'm guessing there's no rash or reddening of the skin?  Have you tried lidocaine?
