just got double vision 3 weeks ago

I recently was diagnosed with MS which is causing me to have double vision when I roll my eyes to the left.  Similar to what some of you have mentioned.   I had this 5 years ago and the Dr thought it was stress. It actually affected me everywhere I looked at that time.   It did go away, but took months.  Is there any reason to believe that it won't go away this time?   It does seem to be very slowly improving because it was everywhere, but now only to the left.

I am bumping this up in hopes that Quix or Cobob see this.  I do know it is important that your neuro is aware of the problem.  They do usually get IVSM into ya pretty quick with it.

I had double vision with my most recent relapse. It was determined to be the result of nystagmus, rather than anything to do with my optic nerve. Nystagmus is involuntary eye movement. The same bad signals that make your foot drop, or other symptoms appear, cause your eye muscles to do strange things.

For me it started with double vision when I looked left or right, progressed to all of the time, retreated to just left or right and then when away. When the do looked at my eyes, when I was looking left, she could see them move back and forth rapidly, as I tried to focus.

As with my other symptoms, the nystagmus was worse when I was hot or tired. Also as with the other symptoms the double vision went away following 5 days of IV-Solu-Medrol.
