Numb tongue

Hi all, well this is yet another first for me.   I have been on my Copaxone for almost a week now.

Just before I started , about 2 days or so, my tongue started to go numb.   It even was swollen a little bit, and left indents of my teeth on the side.  My Dr' GP ..... ( ya know, the stupdid one) .... did not seem concerned, and when the Shared Solutions nurse came, I showed her, and she told us what the wavy bumps were on the side of my tongue, and she was not that concerned either.

But, today, it is still numb, and all the way down my throat, when I close my mouth, it feels like my mouth is full, and of coursew it isn't.

I'm extremely exhausted today, and wondered it you guys have ever had the numb tongue syndrome?   I have called dthe UBC relapse clinic and reported to them, and also talked to my SS nurse last night, and she does not think it has anything to do with the Copaxone, because it was something that started a coupld of day before.

Any suggestions?

my vision is funny too, so please ignore the typo's ...

*HUGS*

I had a numb tongue and throat with my last relapse. IVSM seemed to help it as well as some time.   I've been on Copaxone for two months and haven't experienced those symptoms since being on it.  You might just give your neuro a call to let them know what's going on.
