I was about to post on this forum when I read this. I just wish you strength through this difficult time and to know you have the support of everyone here, new members and old. I remember losing a very close friend with down's syndrome some years back, and know how her unconditional love of life and people brought happiness to everyone who met her. To this day her memory brings me joy, and I hope that one day you will find the memories and honour of knowing someone like her makes up for the terrible pain of losing her. When you have just lost someone it's hard to feel blessed, but you are, for having had her friendship. We want the ones we love to stay with us always, and in a way they do, inside us. Cry all you need to, tell any of us how you feel, message me anytime. None of us can make the pain go away, but ahead of the pain you will find peace. I hope you have people you can share this with face to face too. You need friends who will spend time with you, hug you, let you rage if you need to. We will do all we can here.
I just wish I was there to put my arms around you and let you cry. Sometimes virtual hugs just aren't enough........I'm just so sorry you have to go through this all. Just lean on your hubby, and GOD, and you will get thru this sad time. (((((hugs))))))))) and prayers. Maggie
